SIRPA Conference 2025 - Chronic Conditions: Beyond the Pain

Join us for a day of informative and inspiring talks delivered by world-renowned speakers in the field. 17th May 2025, New Hunts House, London.

About the day

In our previous conferences the emphasis has always been on chronic pain. This includes our 2015 conference where the focus was on ‘Chronic Pain: To Suppress, Manage or Cure?’, our 2017 conference when we considered the role of emotions in chronic pain, and at our last conference in 2022, where the focus was on the cutting edge research of chronic pain and its clinical applications.

Due to the numerous other neuroplastic symptoms and conditions we see in our work, this time we decided to broaden the scope of our presentations to other chronic conditions, beyond pain.  This exciting day will include presentations about:

  • The latest neuroscience with Howard Schubiner
  • Digestive issues with Paul Garner
  • Dizziness with Yonit Arthur
  • Interstitial Cystitis and PoTS with Gigi Cockell
  • Long Covid with Paul Garner
  • How to shape our local healthcare systems as changemakers with Deepak Ravindran

As an added bonus with our Premium ticket, we will also be including an additional 3 pre-recorded presentations from Specialists who will talk about:

  • Ehlers Danlos Syndrome with Georgie Oldfield
  • The Biology of Trauma with Aimie Apigian
  • Functional Neurologic Disorder (FND) with Jon Stone

Our premium ticket also includes access to intimate Q&A webinars with the conference speakers in the weeks following the conference. These will be recorded in case you cannot attend. Bring your questions for Georgie Oldfield, Dave Clarke, Paul Garner and Yonit Arthur.

“I will freely admit, having dealt with chronic pain for over 25 years, that I was very sceptical about Georgie’s work. Attending the SIRPA conference completely changed my mind!

Without exaggeration the conference was one of the most interesting and enjoyable meetings I have been to for years. Here was something different that made sense of many of the anomalies that I have witnessed in pain medicine for years.

The speaker presentations were of the highest quality, presenting high grade evidence and rationale scientific explanations for ACE theories. I will be very happy to support SIRPA in the future and look forward to the next conference.”
