This skills development course is designed for SIRPA practitioners who have completed Level 3 or are currently working through it and therefore have already been introduced to the principles and techniques that underpin Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT).
The programme offers a more focused introduction to Pain Reprocessing Therapy principles and supports practitioners in integrating PRT-informed skills into their existing SIRPA training, including clinical application, somatic tracking, nervous system safety, fear reduction, and case consultation.
Led by experienced Pain Reprocessing Therapy practitioner Vanessa Blackstone, this programme is designed to help you bridge the gap between understanding the concepts and applying them with greater skill, flexibility and confidence in clinical practice.
On successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a SIRPA certificate of completion and this will be recognised on the SIRPA Practitioner Directory by the individual being listed as having completed this PRT Skills Programme.
Please note: This recognition is awarded by SIRPA and is independent of any other training provider or organisation using the term Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
Vanessa Blackstone, MSW, citizen of Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, is the Founder and Executive Director of Pain Psychology Centre UK and the former Executive Director of the Pain Psychology Center in Los Angeles.
